Default Fireant getting a makeover (dial up warning!!!)

Well fireant was getting dusty so i decide time for a makeover. I am redigning the suspension and everything. It is gonna have a sr or a evx for speedo and lathe motors. The lathe motors will have 9 tooths and i will *hopefully* use 3300 batts..

Heres a shot with out electronics

heres the upper link mount

the gearbox sits a little low

That is because of these un equal holes my brother drilled when he made my frame

heres a shot of my new side biters

heres the new tread pattern

heres a pick of the front end

heres a shot of it on my bros bronco

heres a flex pic

as you can see i still need a servo

heres another flex pic

and last my ghetto rccrawler sticker

heres were the magic happens lol

Looks good!

I checked out your brother's '78 project over at BroncoZone. Nice! We have a '78 that I'd like to build some day. Looks like your dad has a very well equipped shop! 8O

I just ran my first clod crawler yesterday at the Nor. Cal. fun Crall. I was susprissed that it worked so well. I ran all most the same setup on the SC, Motors and pinions with nearly no problems (I had a motor brush spring come loose) and the truck ran great. I ran on 6 cells with a EVX shotred out on one side (like in the article on this site) and never lost power to either motor. I felt like I was risking the SC but did not want to buy two SC's for one truck.

I think he's pointing out the irony of the fact that you diddnt make your chassis but your "selling" chassis and stuff on your site

Why the heck is your gear case pointing down? You need to get longer upper links and turn it up the right way.

The EVX was a little touchy in reverse but other wise it worked great when the set of tires that were spinning loose the others would dig in and push the rig over the rock, For a Clod it is great.
