Default Sweet 2.2!

Here she is.... The Awesomeness. Jealous much?!?!

As they came...

Sorry Axial, Cannibalization!

As she sit's, she weighs 4 lbs 12 oz. Should come out at 5 lbs 8 oz.
Couple hours later she's on her feet. Tomorrow she should be running.

More to come....

Very nice. Glad you finally got a set of mini clod. I haven't build mine yet, busy with my slingshot axial. How wide is that chassis? I think of using the slingshot with GTR shocks with yellow springs. It should work well. Can't wait to see what lid you gonna to put it on. BTW, is that the Integy servo mount that I see?

I am not sure. Looks like a homebrew servo mount. The chassi is about 2 in wide. Right now I have an HPI bug on it, but it may get an axial xc-1 or whatever it's called.

I found, perhaps, a perfect chassis for my mini-clod. The El NiNo2 from Chaotic Crawlers. But I wanted your opinion since it is similair to yours. Let me know how your miniclod crawls when you have time. Thanks.

I drove it some today on the rock in my yard. It seems to do alright. It could use a little more weight in the tires as it only weighs in at 5 lbs 8 oz. I need to tinker with it more and get pics up of the finished truck as of now. I will let you know after the weekend how she is. I have a comp, and I will bring her to play with after.

Does it need to use double bend links to clear the gearboxes, since it is much shorter than the super. I kinda mocked up mine on the deimos chassis that I had lying around. Thinking of getting creeper lower links, but not sure if it'll be 12.5" wheelbase with it. Any insights to it? I gonna to treat myself with new camera this weekend. I tired of not having to show off my goodies. I need to shine a bit , ya'll.

Musdy,

Heres a pic of what I had to do. I only put the front lowers on the outside cause I was lazy and didn't wanna make new links lol. There are a couple more of her as she stands. I will do some more testing before I spend time making better links. Sorry, the lighting sucks for these pics and I am too lazy to take better ones.

Extactly what I thought. Couldn't see the bends clearly in your first post. Thanks for the addtional pictures. It helps a lot. The more I see your build, the more I want to finish up mine. LOL. Merry X-mas to ya'll.

Got some time to drive it on some monorock today and it did very well. At least for no tuning. With a little playing with the shocks and some weight, she should do very well.

I haven't measured, but it is whatever axial would be with a stock wheel...

Hey, what kind of tires and wheels are those? I'm looking for something like that for my own clod buildup. And what is the final wheelbase?

They are Panther Leopards on an inch wide Vanquish SLW wheel

Bigflex,

The truck drives very well. I am impressed with how well honestly. Not as well as my HR, but still great for just driving it off the build table. I will say, I have more fun driving this than my comp rig.

Heres pics of it as she stands. I need to make some better front links, add about 8oz, and make a stronger servo mount.... Only complaints are the servo mounting difficulties, and the girth of the axles interfering with the links... Otherwise, it's

Next to the comp rig
