| New Clod Crawler, Which Body to Use?
I have a new Crawler in the works. Many thanks goes out to Matt at UTRCRC. Excellent Chassis!! Thought I would share and get opinions on which body to use. Granted if I use a Jeep body I will be buying another as that one is for my Ripper. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...n/IM000171.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...n/IM000170.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...n/IM000169.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...n/IM000163.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...n/IM000123.jpg |

Looks good so far. Just lower that body 2.5" and you'll be set

Heck, I'd lower it down way more than 2.5". Generally 1:10 bodies will fit between clod wheels, and when it flexes the axle moves to the side so it will get out of its own way (enough if you're lucky ;) ) Looks more scale too when the body and chassis don't look like separate entities |

The F150 Body is narrower then the jeep body so I may end up using that. I do want to get it as low as possible. Oh and sorry bout the last pic, not Rc related and Dunno how it got in there | |

Use the unpainted truck body...seems like everyone is using jeep bodies or bronco bodies. Dare to be somewhat different from the rest of the herd and go with the truck body!!

Finished painting the new Body last weekend and got some Pics to share. the body is kinda short , but for 16 inch wheelbase and a crawler , I think this narrow body will work More stickers will be placed soon! |

Sweet job on your new body!!! Looks real good. I like how you've left the bed unpainted, that's a new look.
