For the most part, anyone who owns a stick is etiher serious about the comp scene or wants a very capable crawler....and they also know that NO WHERE NEAR 90° is needed. It will usually hurt you...

mine does that too..................................with no shocks
just trying to get some ideas...I'm thinking of mounting the shocks as low as possible...in line with the bottom of the axle tubes...that would put the top mount at about 15-20 deg just wonderin what the "stock" flex is like

Just to give you an idea, here's a pic of my old 2.2 TCS Xtreme (before it was "the stick").

yeah no shocks makes for alot of flex you could also build a cantalever setup to make for alot of flex. but flex is over rated.

That would also put your body at 15-20* tilted to the side.

Flex is overrated. Only noobs & ppl that just don't care like 90* or more. It'll perform like sh!t.

nothing a couple of small holes in the backbone can't fix
plus I'm kinda going from scratch on this so, for now, I want to dial in the articulation.. not even sure if I'm going to run a body

I don't compete, heck I'm prolly one of the few in the province with a crawler just want to learn how set up the chassis to work the best it can... I know the limiting factor are the tmaxx shocks as they only compress so much and nowI don't think that moving them up or down from the axle tube is going to change the articulation??? any thoughts on this??? I'll throw some pics up of what I have when I have it dialed in

thanks for all your comments and suggestions

looks like plenty of flex for most situations. Thats about where all my rigs flex, around 60 degrees or so.

Here are a couple of "flex" pics of my Stick...
I think the one with the Escalade is at full flex.
And the one with the F-150 isn't quite at full flex, but probably close.
