| UTRCRC vPrime Chassis'
I was looking at their chassis' today. Wow. Those suckers look nice! Im wondering how the NEW vPrime Supercrawler stacks up to Kevins NN and TCS Xtreme? For the price its inbetween both the NN and the TCS... Thoughts? |

For a conventional set up, you can't go wrong with either the vPrime, or the NN. Make sure you see what is included with the kits and what makes one different from the other. That may make the decision a little easier. But as a chassis, both do what they're supposed to. The Stick is more of a specialized tool for competing. Not that either of the other trucks can't compete with the Stick, because they can. But to me the Stick is missing some of the classic crawler characteristics. Also, it'll make it up or over just about anything you put in front of it. Which is great, but makes finding challenges a challenge. |

I have purchased 2 kits from UTRCRC and 1 from The Crawler store. ( The Stick ) UTRCRC V2 / vPrime 2.2 / "The Stick" I have been very happy with all 3 , and still use all 3 Obviously "The Stick" will have more clearence under the Backbone then the vPrime. but depending on the areas you crawl you may not need it. The Stick is also lighter then the others you mentioned , Which can hurt it at times depending on the setup. IMO get the one you like the most , Both of them are very capable in the right hands. Pics of my stuff can be found at www.photobucket.com do a search for rindaen. |

If i can't manage the cash for the Stick (which i'd like) I'm going to heavily consider the UTRCRC Chassis'. Although im not sure which i'd like to get! I'd like a 2.2 chassis.. but im thinking about just getting the new vPrime. EDIT : Forgive the stupid question but its been a while... 2.2 Tires can mount on ANY chassis right? Not just 2.2 chassis'? Was at work when I last posted , Thanks for posting the direct link ILoveRCRockCrawlin , I cant open Photobucket at work ( Dam Websense filter ) And I forgot my sig is a direct link as well ... 2.2 tires will work with clod axles on any of those clod chassis's. If you want to attend comps , It wil need to be 12.5 Inches axle nut to axle nut. PIcs below to make it easier UTRCRC vPrime UTRCRC V2 ( Discontinued - Posted for comparison ) "The Stick" |

For competition, I would only run a clod set up with four shocks. It gives you the best control in tough situations. |

| http://www.rcrockcrawling.com/produc...products_id=35 Link to the Gecko 2 60/40.. How is this, i hear tons of good things about it. The only reason i hesitate from buying the stick is because its just a stick. Its kinda missing the feel of a regular chassis, know what i mean? |
