Default Making a stock frame work?

I've seen a lot a really nice custom and manufactured frames. But I'm a stock kind of person. Kind of a stock suspension vs a ladder bar or 4 link on a drag car. I'd like to try to get the stock frame and suspension to work better. I am not worried about competition, just having fun in the back yard. I've seen the Crawford 4 links and they look really sweet. Do they work well and how do they attach to the rears? I assume one set attachs to the stock suspension points behind the wheels. But what about the center links? Where do they attach? Right now mine is supposed to have E-Maxx shocks on it. Are they decent and will they work well? What about a 1/4 eliptical spring?

Thanks Brett, I missed this on the first go around. I've been admiring your parts ever since I got this thing. You do really go work and it shows.

Does everyone mount the end links to the knuckles? has anyone made a plate or mount the hooks onto the rear more around the "ball" on the axle.

I installed traxxas grey emaxx shocks & esp lift plates for them on mine.. the stock chassis I cut where the steering servo savers are so they can move up higher into the chassis witout hitting.. just need to do some toying with shock oils but the stock suspension seems to be working fine with this setup..

I just bought a new frame for mine, so I don't want to cut that one up. But I have one coming from a member on here. I think that one will become the experimental frame. I like the crawlers, but just want to see what a stock frame can do.
