In the instruction pdf it tells you that it can be set up for racing, crawling etc.

But does not tell you which holes to use as a guide?

Looking for the best set up for crawling.

Cheers stuart.

it's all about personal preference and the way you use your truck. I've seen some some pretty trippy things being down on some rigs and thought, s*** thats not going to work, and guess what i was wrong . you'll have to just take some time and find what works for you,and it's a good way in seeing the different way the truck handles to your type of crawling.

I built mine about 4 months ago. But this past weekend I finally got it on the rocks. It did very good for the first time out. Would have been a lot better with taller tires. Here is a pic of how mine is setup. Keep in mind the bottom of my shocks are mounted to the axles and not the links.

I'm building a clod with a Rockbull II and have it setup pretty much the same way as 1badjeepbruiser. I followed the pictures in the instruction .pdf. It shows 2 or 3 different setups and I built it off that. If I ever get it running, I'll make changes as I need to.

BrandO -

Is that a custom made antenna mount on your rig? For now I jammed the antenna tube through a spare rod end and bolted it to the side of the chassis. I am looking for something like that.

Also, is that the RCGuy steering kit? I have have one on order and am waiting for it. How do you like it? I tried out the RC4WD kit, but wasn't happy with the servo on the axle brace.

Thanks,

My truck is the first version of the Rockbull. I didn't get setup sheets with mine. Mine got to where it is by trial and error. The second version came out a couple weeks after I bought this one. Classic BrandO luck!

The antenna mount is a custom bracket. I made an "L" shaped bracket that mounts to the chassis. Then I bolted in something like this from Tower. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXHWN9&P=ML

The steering in the pic is the RC Guy setup. My truck isn't set up like that anymore. The servo seemed to be to low and got hung up very easy. Probably wouldn't have been an issue if I was running larger tires. I made a mount and put it on the axle tube brace. I like it being up and out of the way.
