I think its personal prefrance. I ran Associated shocks on my clod for years. I like them. I recently picked up a set of Savage shocks to experament with. With the current set up on my clod I have to re-build either my links, or set up some new shock mounts to run the Savages. But Im going to re-build it all after I get done with my shafty.

one thing: savageshocks are long and SOFT!!! with my first setup it pulled the truck to one side when i was steering, at that moment it was linkmounted. now i run them straid to the axles and they work greath!!
