Default Clod front servo mount?

If any of you have dimesions on servo mounts please post. I have searched the forum and have not found much. If you know of something point me in the right direction. I am looking for the mount that puts the servo vertically on the diff.

SMR that is the one I am looking for now I need to find dimesions on that plate I don't need the links. Why pay 60 when I can make my own. If no one has dimesions that is cool this is a good start.

I just measured the length from end bracket to end bracket on the servo and it measures 2 1/8inch.
That should be a good start if your thinking of fabbing a plate.

Exact dims are 1.59 (not including brackets) x 0.77 x 1.48. Sorry I don't have a profile view of that plate.
The plate for my NN is your typical servo laid over the axle brace type.

Good Luck

Mike

You Don't Want The Plate That Mounts It Like That Just Get Some Servo Mounts For A E-maxx And Mount The Servo To The Axle Brace Some What Like Rc-guys Pro Steering Kit.

It's better to mount it like this. Contact The Crawler Store here in the vendors section.

Use Traxxas #2715 servo mounts. These work perfect

I see opinions for both the axel mounted and for the gear case mounted methods. I am considering purchasing the gear case style due to the fact that it seems the twisting force caused by the servo, ends up loosening the axel brace screw. I have the RC4WD axel brace with the servo platform and the screw loosened up again.
Here is a picture of the setup. Has anyone had this issue and are there suggestions for a fix? Thanks.

The mount that mounts it verical looks good but it kills your approach angle and will eventually damage your servo.

I have the same problem with the mount loosening up. The combination of torkie servos and high articulation loosens the bottom axle stay bolt, thus in turn causing it to pivot and loosen the top screw.
I now use a longer bolt with a nylock and loctite to hold the bottom of the axle stay and bottom suspension link.

the axle stay is the best place but like most say it can loosen the bolts over time my trick is to paint the nut and threads with clear nail polish
