does the shock bottom out at all when fully articulated in the opposite postion than it is in the last pic?

yeah the shocks bottoms out but that keeps the articulation in check. i could have gone with longer shocks but then it would put too much stress on the links, as it is the shocks bottoms out just as the links start to bind so it worked out perfect

It does seem to add unnecessary complexity to just about the most simple chassis design out there. But hey, if it works for you and you like it, cool

That chassis looks like it's made from an extra-long barrel nut . Just curious what it really is, I'm almost certain it's aluminum hex stock of some sorts. What size heim joints work in the Clod axels?



The wheels are a turnin' . Very clean looking rig. What steering did you use, or did you make your own?

yes it is hex stock with some extra machining and those are aluminum heim joints 1/4-28 female turned down to fit inside the clod axle.


the steering is my own.......thank you very much!

this is actually my first stick rig and i do have to say yes STICKS ROCK!

More like infamous or notorious....never famous. I'm going to have fun with this project. If things go OK we'll see. I was never good at conforming to rules & regulations.
