Default my first clod

Here is the start of my first clod. I bought the chasis from rc4wd. It is a rockbull 2
Everything else I got from ebay and my local hobby store. I still have a lot more to get but it is a start.

Like the truck, very clean look. One thing I did notice right away however is it appears you have a really strange castor angle going on there. I don't know if you've done this on purpose to try and change the steering but it sure seems to have dropped the two motors down low to where they may hinder your ground clearance and approach angle. If this is just how it came out you may want to look at pulling in those lower links to straighten it out some. As said the truck looks very nice and clean.

I haven't got everything on it yet but I am not at 15 lbs yet. That does seem a little heavy. I think they are talking about a finished truck. With weights in the front tires. This is just my opinion though.

Thanks for all the compliments. I did see the angle when I put it together. I have since played around with the mounting and have fixed the axle angle. I also got the chasis at 5" of ground clearance. That seems to be as low as I can get it.

Nice build.

Got a close up pic of how you installed your lower links to the axles? Did you custom make anything?

Also what ballends are those? They sure look stout!

yes, limit the flex.

Perhaps I missed it, but what is your ground clearance?
