| Well one of my fellow competetors wants me to build him a clod tuber to look like his 1:1 comp buggy. so the build is on! Sort of looks like a moon buggy with the offset drivers area but it is really a front engine single seater rig. I will post pics of the real rig when the build is complete, for comparisons. Clod axles locked custom tube cage/frame super rooster speed control 2 55 turn lathe motors 9 thooth pinions 2 hi tech 5955tg sservos not sure what shocks yet maximizer beadlocks imex rock crawler tires no foams Thanks for looking Here are a few pics! | how did u keep the belly pan from warping from the heat...? the sheet metal i put under mine to keep from burning the bench, heats up and warps horribly |

| The piece underneath is deffinatly warped. For the belly pan I just go slow and take my time and try not to stay in one place for to long. then when i am done brazing the spot i use pliers to squeaze the pan to the tube if it did start to warp. If you noticed in my pic i just brazed the front and back edges. I will wait till the chassis is all done to do the rest. The completed chassis adds strength to the belly pan which helps it from warping. Hope this helps Quote:
