Default Question About Clod.

Ok i found a clod but it looks like its only 2wd. Did they make them 2wd with just one motor? I need to know. I HOPE I DONT SOUND STUPID!

1:10th scale clods are 4WD ... i havent seen the 1:18 scale ones up close, maybe thats what you found???

Not that I knew of, It may be one of the "other" Tamyia kits that were 2WD like the Blackfoot line or Monster Beetles....

Being a Clod as you say if it is two wheel drive then some one has simply made it that way. All Clods have always been four wheel drive and the front and rear axles and gearboxes are just the same. In order to be only two wheel drive you must have a wrong axle either front or back. Simple solution, replace the wrong one with the correct one.

They did make the Clodbuster QD (quick-drive) with 2WD and a single engine. It's smaller than a standard Clod, but does come with the same decal package. Does it look anything like Ebay item #6058943522? If it does, then don't get it becuase that's the 2WD version.

Ok i guess it was 2wd. Thanks you saved me some money couse i was going to buy one. It wasnt that one but it was one on ebay it was 8 bux becouse it didnt work. I was going to buy it and fix it and make it a mean crawlin machine! But its not a 4wd clod like i want....so im not getting it.

there one on ebay right now mostly they just take the motor off the front axle unless its dirty cheap like 100 bucks or less just buy the super clod buster kit or buy the axles off thecrawlerstore

The pictures even showed it was only 2 wheel drive and the descrptions first words are "13" LONG OVERALL"...

Should have been a clue!:-P

yulp its the 2wd front steering only one easy way to tell on the stock ones is look at the shocks 4 pre axle is 4x4 2 pre axle is 2wd heres a cheap stock one http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Super-Clod-B...QQcmdZViewItem
