Default Clod Spares to Carry?

I'm finding that the LHS don't really carry much in the way of Tamiya parts. I was wondering what folks recommend keeping on hand in the way of spare parts? Obviously you will always need screws and rod ends, links, etc, but what about the more specialized stuff? The big one I see is spare axle tubes, as they seem to be the weak link, but what else? Are the knuckles subject to breaking?

axel tubes and knuckles are the weakest parts on a clod. my solution was to buy aluminum knuckles, but for the axel tubes ... its a bit expensive. if you can afford machined aluminum replacements ... go for it!

I go through Axles, Axle tubes, knuckles, and if you are running plastic rod ends....a lot of those, invest in metal, they last longer, especially on suspension links!! If you are still running plastic gears, those give out too....spares...$$

In almost 2 years, I've cracked one gearcase, and one knuckle.

Unless you're brutal on a truck, clod parts are pretty tough.

(2 65t motors + 12 cells) x (rocks + heavy throttle finger) = Truck Break Easy

At least the plastic bits...I haven't broken since I went to SS axles and Aluminum knucks and gears **knocks on wood**
