Default Just got a Clod

Well, I have had my Nylint for a couple months now, but I wanted something that was a little better. I found this Clod that was rtr on another forum, and it arrived at my house yesterday. It is just front steer for now, but it came with all the parts to set-up the rear steering minus the servo. Here are some specs:
-Gecko II Chassis
-Paramax Motors
-Radio
-Stock Clod Axles (locked)
-Novak Superduty XL speed control
-Tower Hobbies Servo
-Two sets of tires
-Two batteries
-Quick and Regular charger
-Two bodies

Here's a couple pics of the Clod...

Looks like a great starter. The first thing I would do is get a pair of 55t lathe motors for it. It will make a big difference in it's ability to crawl. Good Luck!

I was actually already thinking about it. The first thing I thought when I ran this one was that I couldn't believe how fast it went, so I think it does need some slower motors.

An old beat up Lexan Jeep body and an F-350 body. I'm going to buy a Tundra body for it though. I paid $300 shipped to my door.

Thanks. I've gotta do a few things to it like replace a couple screws that are missing and clean up the wiring (probably new motors too), but other than that, I think I got a great deal and I am very happy with it.

You might want to move the lower links from the bottom of the axle to the top of the axle. It helps the breakover angle a lot.

Thanks. I'm pretty new to all of this, so I am looking for suggestions of all types.

Well, today I ordered the Integy 55t motors along with Deans Plugs and some new wires to clean up the wiring on this thing. I also ordered a new body for it. Hopefully I get the stuff Saturday so I can mess with it on Sunday.
