Default Complete build pics of new tuber!!

Ok I started a post about 2 months ago on a tuber i was building for a friend, well here is the final post with complete build pics.

Clod axles
custom 3/16 brakeline tuber brazed
2 55t lathes 8t pinions
maximizer beadlocks with rock rings
imex K-rocks groved
super rooster speed control
hi-tec hsr-5995tg front servo
hi-tec hs-5955tg rear servo

i like it but i was wondering, on the top part of the cage its more angled inward than the other side, why is it like that? I was just curious

It's common in 1:1 crawling buggy. Build the cage to protect the driver who usually sits off to one side a bit. May not be aesthetically correct, but it is functional!

besides that one side angeled, thats one hot looking rig, i love the blue..if everything would be straight it would look nice, but you based it on the actual 1:1, and damn its nice!

I forgot to add the pics of the real buggy that i built the rc after. The real buggy's cage is offset to the side becasue the driver sits on one side and the tranny and transfer case are right next to him. no need for the cage to go all the way across.

ya it is, it's a look from the 1:1 crawling scene. People make their moon buggys like that. (too late)

As far as a sit-in, ride-in, competition buggy goes the latest designs have the driver sit off to the side like that and the cage follows function. If you look at the front pannel it is cocked to the side this would be because the engine, trans, t-case are on an angle also a form follows function type of thing.
