Ok, starting from Shoney's, take Hwy 50 towards Lewisburg, go 6.4 miles.

The place where you turn off is about a mile or less past the Culeoka turn off, when you pass the turn off to Culeoka you go around a wide left hand curve and then over a small rise, the turn off to the wildlife area is just before the bridge on the left, it's not a paved road and there is a TWRA sign at the entrance. Yanahli Wildlife Area.

Well I've learned a few things since yesterday, nylints suck butt and so does the bec on my speed controls, I already ordered some moab xl's but I also ordered two new moped speed controles, each with a bec of 3 amps so I will have a 6 amp bec at 5 volts. That should fix my electrical problems. Tommorow I will tear everything down and add body panels and paint.
I was however very impressed by BADDs torsion stick setup, very simple and very effective, I also liked the gear reducion units. hears a few pics

the Rocks where very loose , hard to get ahold of . all the small rock pulling out of the ledges was nuts . all i did to the vette's front end was cracked the pin gear never seen that before . it was an alum... gear , split on one side . letting it open up and spin on the motor shaft. the other truck was fine nothing but some new scratches . when you get your Moabs you will really see a differnce . i do like the size of your buggy . it gets hungup very little . with the Moabs and some paint it should slide right over them rocks .

Got a package today, these things are sweet. I'm going to take them to work monday and narrow them in a lathe, Should I take .75" or 1" out of them. I'm still carving up my foams but I'm in no hurry cause I'm waiting on bender to get my adapters. I'm still waiting on my moped speed controlls and then I should be able to flog this thing.

Kamikaze, I really like the frame. Looks well-balanced, and sturdy without any unnecessary stuff. I was wondering though, do you guys think that it would be easy to weld (electronically) 1/8th inch metal rod together to make a sort of tube frame? I have a wire welder, and do not want to have to buy an ox./Acet. torch to make 1 frame. I measured the thickness of the rod compared to the thickness of the walls of 1/4 inch tubing, and the thicknesses are the same, minus the hollow space.

what do you mean by electronic welding??? I've been a welder my whole life and I've never herd anything called that. Anyway 1/8 solid will look funny and is not as strong as tubing, you can use a mapp torch if you need to for the silver solder, I still think thats the easiest way to do it, its also easy to take apart if you dont like something, just heat it up and watch it fall off.

Well I got the rims narrowed and tightened what must have been 6000 socket hed cap screws but there done. I took 7/8" out of the rims and removed the air hole, It should have a fairly narrow stance but I won't know until I get some adapters. Tomorow I will hopefuly finish up the tube frame with some body panals. I'm going to paint it orange now, I just like the bead lock rings to much to change them.

Got the body panals on today. There made of .004" shim stock and weigh practicaly nothing. I went ahead and silver soldered them on, that was challenging. I got my battery hold and my rx mount in place and will start asembling everything tonight. Still waiting on adapters and the two moped speed controlls.
