Default Rock Reaper is NOW HERE... (Edit for Real pics!)

Here comes the Rock Reaper...
Featuring:

The Vertical Smile + Grins - By Double J
Lightspeed Hand wound 65 turn Matched motors
18" Wheelbase
A Craptacular PhotoChop by Unholy (The Black Reaper like Blob was a roll of paper towels...)

Alrighty... here are some pics...
They are prior to electronics today, but i ran short on time.

Double J's Vertical Smile has an option called grins... I found an interesting way to use mine!

As you see I extended my wheelbase and made my front shock angle match the rear.

The extensions don't hang when crawling thanks to the slight curve.
Just like the skidplate. Here you can see the Lightspeed motors.
65turn w/8 tooth pinions. Ungodly amounts of torque, No Stall, and the wheelspeed of 55 Lathes. Not sure how he did it!

18" wheelbase and too much flex! I'll dial it out later.

Here's the original photoshopped shot above. Notice the "driver"?

Couple more of the lid and my craptastic spraybomb and sticker job. The color changing spazstix is cool though!

I'll get more pics of the almost finished Reaper but I ran out of daylight and freetime.
Still have to dial in shock settings, steering, and wire up the TQ3 switch for rear steer. The little I crawled with it (trying to hold the 3rd channel switch in the middle) it seemed to do well! It'll stand on the side of the wheels so my COG is decent, even with the stick pack and ESC and receiver on top of the skidplate.

The lightspeed motors are crazy. I may bump up the pinions to see how big I can run without stall and decent torque.

The RCGUY links I hope to replace soon. The 8 tooth pinons rock... smart idea to put 2 set screws in those pinons! Adjustable motormounts with clear windows are sweet also!

The RC4WD axle braces and fullmetal steering are nice. I still have to tweak the toe on the steering.

I am running a Towerpro server in the front and an old Hitech in the back.

Shocks are nice, got them off eBay. They are 4" eye to eye but have the travel of most 5" shocks.

Running a Tekin Rebel 2 and it handles the 2 servos nicely. I should have run the moped but i already put the team tekin stickers on the body!

Yeah... How many supers are there? I still haven't even thought about a 2.2 build yet... unless you count a nylint or a VMG!

Just friggin' awesome torque. I mean holy crap that's alot of torque type torque.

You should see how he used the GRINS. I was verry impressed with the Creativity he came up with.

You are a tease.

They definitely aren't where i thought they would be... but this build changed gears completely from the original concept! Some people will probably laugh but they work GREAT and balanced out the shock mounts and wheel base perfectly! But i say too much...

That is older than you are my friend...

When i was in 7th grade, we had a teacher who would snag notes being passed between kids in class and read them to the whole class (mind you this was before everyone had a cell phone to text on! ).

I wrote a note specifically for the teacher to intercept since she had embarrased my girlfriend horribly bad the day before.

The note read as follows:

I am sofa king wee Todd did.
I am a bee itch that "getzoffon" re: ding notes in class.

She read the whole thing with a weird look on her face... she figured out something was up at the "notes in class" part.

Her first question was if "getzoffon" was some kind of german curse word... She then read it AGAIN and finally figured it out... The whole class was rolling... I went to the principles office... HIs name was Ferdinand C. Kaufman... his intitials were F.C.K. - Guess where I went with that
