The best mod you got I can see is the laptop on the work bench. I need to do that. But my wife would never see me.

You know if you put a Fridge and a Microwave in there with you there is no need to go to the house to eat. Which means more time to work on it. lol Thats what I did. It's all about saving time.

yeah your right a dell d610 (mine) and some gateway ( my dads )

i hate gateway : )

ne ways i got my crawler put together and come to find out that i need a new controller and receiver

so ebay hooked me up i got a 5 ch jr with receiver, charger, batteries, and servos for 65 bucks shipped

yah !!!

my crawler right now has a 13 and a half inch wheel base which sucks cause i havnt got my mounts for the axles from rc 4wd that i ordered 2 weeks ago !!!!!! no kidding the mounts would add inches to my wheelbase, i had to bolt everything really close to make work. : (

wtf, rc4wd sucks!
ne where but there
just a simple order and they still are saying partially shipped! its horrible i got to wait for them this long for 1 part that was in stock

the crawler does pretty well though with the small wheelbase
i was suprised!!! i was going so many places that the nylint couldnt
its great

12Flex, I think the truck is and looks great. the material (stainless steel, I imagine?) looks plenty strong, especially with all the side-to-side braces you have, but looks light enough to not cause a high CG. Hey, guys, I often use my laptop in the shop (actually its a garage, I can dream, cant I?) like this: set your laptop on a small table or stable stool thats off to the side. this way, its out of the way of things that could damage it, but within easy access. Speaking of shops, I like your setup, 12, its nice, well laid-out, and looks like a great work space. congrats on your rig, and workshop. Now, I just have to get my 'shop' in order.

i just go this controller and everything else you see for 65 bucks shipped from ebay
its a jr pcm FM radio ? thats all i know till i get it but,
ITS ALOT BETTER THAN MY 80'S SETUP
my airtronics wasnt really compatible with my servos and esc's
and the receiver was toast
SO I GOT TO TEST MY CRAWLER AND I AM GOING WITH A STICK CHASSIS NOW
ONCE I SAW THIS VIDEO
I TOOK MY CRAWLER APART AND OREDED THE PARTS WHICH ARRIVED YESTERDAY : ) TO BUILD THE STICK!!!!
2 HEIM JOINTS THE ROD AND THE BOLTS and your going to need to bore out the rod to a 21/64 bit and thread the rod with a 3/8 x 24 threading tool!
ALL I GOT TO DO IS GET THE DRILL BIT TODAY AND GO TO TOWN
HERES THE LINKS FOR THE THREAD, THE PARTS SITE, AND THE VIDEO!!!

the vid AKA ( inspiration : ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mrtD...hecrawlerstore

the forum with everything you need to know except for how to mount the shocks but they show! Project Xerox (If you can't beat them, join them!)

the parts www.mcmaster.com ( just type in the part numbers on the left)

WHAT DO YOU THINK
