| Upgrading my stock clodbuster.
I'm not new to r/c. My first was a 2.5tmaxx that I upgraded to all aluminum parts then sold because I couldn't keep it running, lol. My clod is the chrome edition, all stock and I love it. I would like to upgrade some parts of it, while keeping its stock look. I don't bash or crawl it, just tool around with it in the street or at the beach, dirt and mud and snow when it comes, but nothin extreme. The parts I want to upgrade are.... Servo, I have a traxxas 2075 blue servo, would like to get a metal gear servo Steering rod as the stock ones bend easily Shocks, for both performance and appearance Bearings Wheels and tires And eventually the ESC and motors I would also like to waterproof/sand proof it if anyone has suggestions. Anyone have any suggestions for brands or parts? I'm also looking for a near new/new clodbuster body with all the trim parts if anyone has any leads. I know there are a lot of options out there for these parts, I'm just looking for suggestions. |

Servos- Depends on how much money you would like to spend. A Hitec 5645 would be an upgrade but something like a Hitec 7955 or 7950 would really get the tires turning. Have you checked the evilbay for Clod bodies? |

ive been using HiTec hs645mg in my nitros & electrics for years. They have more then enough to push huge tires around. And they are pretty cheap, i just seen them in my LHS for 35.00/ea.

How much are you looking to spend? A pretty good servo in the Hitec 7954 can be had for about $80 each. Otherwise I would look into the Hitec 5645. Has more torque than the 645 for a couple dollars more.
