| Wheelbase and tire size
I am building a new crawler and the wheelbase is approximently 15 inches, the wheels I am using are RW4WD 2.2 beadlocks with IMEX 2.2 Redrock tires. I am not sure if this will be to long a wheelbase with this size tire and wheel combo. Is there rule of thumb persay when it comes to this? |

2.2 red rocks are big for 2.2 tires, it would look pretty good

Since my 2.2 is setup for the USRCCA rules(Moab bound)..... My Clod has a 12.5" wheelbase while running a Imex RR size tire. Clods need the RR size tires, otherwise they are low riders. |

you measure wheel base from the center of the wheel to the other center. but thats a good choice for wheels and tires

I prefer to run a 14" wheelbase with my Imex All-T's, I tried 15" and it looks too long IMO. Click on the link in my sig to the RCC galleries to see the Wild Oats Clone I built.

I'm going with a 14in or 15in Wheelbase with my TLT running RR.
