Default Aluminum steering knuckles...where?

I have only found them so far at RC4WD, but their site says they are out of stock on them. I have searched Google, and searched places like Tower, Clod Parts, and so on...but is there someplace that you all know of that sells them?

FYI dude if rc4wd says that their item is in stock
beware cause thats what it said when i ordered my lower link mounts and look ive been waiting for OVER 2 weeks
did you check ebay
and if you find some amke sure that its not rc4wd stuff well their stuff is fine but if its coming from them its a 50/50 chance that you will get it like a normal company or store

TXT knuckles will work on a clod... Friend of mine here uses them on his Gecko Pro... Bought a set of aluminum ones for his TXT but put them on his Clod instead and they work as good as they look...

the GPM's are nice. i've heard about problems with the RC4WD knuckles concerning fit, and of course, shipping.

I second the recommendation of the GPM knuckles. They are well made and fit nicely.

Thanks for the info on the steering knuckles, just ordered some. Inet wants to sell you 4 at a time and for a while rc4wd was out of stock of theirs. I happen to like the one peice design better any way. Bigger tires, locked diffs, hi tork servo, alum. knuckles, what is the next item to break and upgrade? The axles shafts or the plastic gears?

I have ripped the threads out of the inet ones! I'm trying rc4wd ones now and they seem to be good except i had to mod them a little to get my steering back!

Just so you all know, the INETRC ones are GPM knuckles. Everything INETRC sells is GPM.

only thing i dont like about the rc4wd ones is its 2 pieces i like the gpm since they are one piece if i had to use the rc4wd id weld the two together

Thats the one thing I don't like about them either. It gives you 2 more screws to get loose and once they loosen up just a tad, they're going to sheer off. I like the simplicity of the 1 piece design, they look more stout. I also don't get why they think it is so important to have a light weight knuckle. That is the one place I would want it, it's low unsprung weight.

Good thread here...

I just broke a knuckle and I am looking for some aluminum ones now.

I think I might go for the one piece units.

My clod took a bit of a tumble whis weekend and I busted the steering arm off.
I just wonder what the weak link will be now.. Axle tube? more servo damage?

the axle tubes are fine if you get the braces for them
