Default gear case cracking

Does anyone else have problems with this.... I just replaced the cases and they cracked again. My screws must be too long, does anyone have a way around this?

I don't know if I am using too big of a screw or what the deal is. I just put new cases on and the same thing happened.

I've never had that problem. :?
I use the shortest 3mm screw for that mounting point.

Question. Does your steering servo mount on that side?

Guessing that the servo is putting alot of strain on that mount and it, combined with a longer screw, is creating your problem. Just guessing. Could try to mount it on the other side, maybe a different mounting location altogether. But that is probably a last choice.

It's all sorted, I have the stick axle brace for the servo. As Grizz says, the screw I used was too fat cracking that area.
