mine has barely more than that, you dont need alot of articulation, too much is useless, seems to me you have a good amount..nice rig too

cut them stockers!

Cheers, I know you don't want too much (I flipped an axle with my first design and broke most of the links), I just wasn't sure on when i've got enough.

oh yeah

like the others have said
flex isnt most important at all it just looks really cool
example
yesterday when i was driving my stick
coming from one rock over a crevise and onto another rock my stick will flex all the way out and the right front tire was in the air while the truck was still moving and it went right to the other rock rather than letting the tire drop all the way in to that crevise
if the tire was flexing down further then its alot more stress on the components to up and out
if you see what im saying

its situation's like that witch happen's all the time where flex isnt helpful

my nylint from the old days had some crazy flex check it out

dude 4 link is cool, more realistic, but thats it
i had an nn chassis with 4 link of course and it was great but then i saw this vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mrtD...hecrawlerstore

aka inspiration : )

and reading the competition forum the stick chassis dominates!!!
no doubt about that
i wanted it and i built it

actually 4 link is a better route as its tunable.... a stick is a floppy undamped mess most of the time.

really well my 10/30 oil filled t-maxx shocks do a great job of preventing that "floppy undamped mess" from happening
and those heim joints that are f/r can hold up to a 50lb. load so there stable as what.

Why are you answering questions not posted towards you

You are hijacking this thread and it has nothing to do with you.

Thanks guys, at the moment the wheelbase is 16", but it's adjustable up to about 19". I thought about building a stick but I didn't want a dedicated comp rig, just a basher. This is my first build, btw.

It's built by me, the only things I've bought for it are the rod ends, a 1/4" plate to make the links out of, and nuts and bolts.

dont let the stick guys talk you out of links... if they could drive they wouldnt need a stick.

Dude, if I ever make a stick, it'll be to crush under my kickass 4 link

Seriously though, I like the design of the stick and its ease of building but I don't want a dedicated crawler, there just isn't any comps in my area. Thinking about it now, the nearest crawler to me is a guy in newcastle, a long way from me, I can tell you...
