You're looking for the D parts tree. Here's a good place to find them: http://www.thundertechracing.com/junkyard.htm |

The BEST ones to get are made by GPM and seem to only come in blue for some reason(aluminum). These things are awesome and are one piece instead of two like the RC4WD plus they come with all the hardware. I will get the part number and the price (I can't remember what I spent) and post again.

I apologize, I did not even think of that but for anybody else the part number is TXT-01 and I spent less than $30.00 for a pair.

Just received these Gpm knuckles today and are installed. Stronger and less bulky than the stock plastic ones. One thing to mention the knuckle gives less of a turning radius than the stock ones. They have a different angle at the steering arms, to compensate for this I had to remove some of the webbing from the axles to regaine and possibly increase my turning radius. Overall a great product and wiil take a bashing.

Buddy of mine here uses aluminum TXT knuckles on both ends of his Clod... Less than $30US a pair, good radius and 1 pce...

I can't find a link at like Tower or anything like that... But I DO know that Clod, TXT and Juggy knuckles are the same unit... All 3 kits, same part, same part #... There's a fair few on eBay and overseas hobby shops... I googled it and that's what I found...

Just DON'T get the new RC4WD ones. THEY SUCK BALLS! I bet between both axles they only allow 45 degrees of steering. HONESTLY. I'm gonna have to have them machined to get my steering back. I'd send them back to get my money but I already waited 3 months for them. And that was bothering him once a week.

Yep, my RC4WD knuckles are terrible for steering, and if you add an axle brace it gets even worse! Time to get out the Dremel.

The GPM's are nice, but you must grind out a notch in the axle tube ends to get them to turn at all. Use SS axle tube end braces if you do this mod.

are the stock plastic knuckles very fragile? i broke my right front one today and am weighing the option of replacement with plastic vs. aluminum ones. i am wondering if it was just a freak landing or a common issue i will be having. btw i am running a bennet chassis with 12 cells and 13x2 motors so i speed more than crawl. |
