Approach at an angle. There really isnt anything that I know of other than bigger tires that will raise the axles off the ground any more.

loose the bumpers, should help a bit, gearbox sliding isnt much of a concern

$500 axles on a $20 chassis?  Taller tires and lose the bumpers... it will help a lot. |
