NN is awesome go with it if those are your only 2 choices, but if not look in to the CPE chassis, they have two awesome models also, and you could also look into the vendors section for others as well PIMP CANE comes into mind

I have a Gecko and have seen an NN in action... I, myself, would go with the Gecko Pro... The NN is nice, yes, but, from what I have seen, too rigid and bouncy... Wether it's the chassis or the way that particular one was set-up, I don't know... But, the only advantage the NN had over me was the extra length in the rear to get up some of the taller obstacles... ANything else we could both get onto, I went over and thru while the NN took a bit longer...

i agree with da violent one. the gecko2 is better then a nn. it has 60/40 split and it has machined lower links. you wont get hanged up on things like a nn would. but over both of these i would still get a pimp cane they are awesome!

Can't speak first hand about the other guys stuff, but absolutely love my NN chassis. No other chassis offers the flexibility that this one does. I first built it as a 2.2 with a 14" wheelbase, and have now stretched it out to 17" for Unlimited class, and I can change it back if I want to. It was a great value, and for a first crawler, it includes all the links, the servo mounts, the upper link mounts, and great instructions. The service from thecrawlerstore was also first rate, which alwasy counts for a lot with me.

Disagree - The NN can be set up with a 60/40 split. It is more adjustable than the gecko2, IMO.

Disagree - The links don't seem to be an issue on the NN, IMO. You must be referring to the link mounts on the NN. On my super rig, they are mounted very close to the axel, so they are completely out of the way. It may be an issue if y ou mount your shocks further up the links towards the body. Again, the NN is very adjustable.

- bad set up, not an issue if you know how to set it up.

The NN is very versatile and a competition proven platform. It looks like the CG of the chassis is lower as well. NN is my vote.

NN or Gecko Pro? I went with both. I set my CFNN up with Gecko Pro 60/40 links, and it's dialed. Until I get smoked by another setup, I couldn't be happier.
