Default Ran my clod axles today and made a Stationary Chassis

I made a chassis with no flex just to see how the clod axles perform and OMFG They are fast and have some nice torque i ran it for about 5 minutes and my unglued tires were completely off the rim. These axles are fast how do i slow them down. i barely press the trigger on my controller and its burning rubber!

My clod Stats:
Fubuta reciever
Unmodified Traxxas EVX
Hitech 625mg servo
Clod-To-maxx adapters
maxx rims and imex swamp dogs
Chassis: Being shipped to me

Get a smaller pinion gear, most people on here run 9 tooth

It would be better to have the 8 in the rear, the 9 in front to help eliminate rear motor stall.

Am I missing something or did you never state what motors you are using? Wouldnt that be the first thing to change if its too fast

Ya change those hunks of junk out. Get some 55turns and it will SLOW it right down. If you want it to go slower then you can put some smaller pinions on.

Well if you are looking to crawl with it definately get some lathes in there. 55t or 65t work great.

im buying 2 new MOPED 16v ESc's and im buying some Matrix 55T motors i think this will improve my crawling. I LOVE The way the clodbuster crawls. ive only been into r/c rockcrawling for about 4-5 months now. i modified my New Bright Jeep Rockcrawler heres a pic of them next to each other.

For crawling, you only need 1 of those ESC's. Just wire the motors in parallel.

I think the idea behind having 2 ESCs is that because the motors are recieving the same amount of power, the motor stall will be gone.

with 2 esc's he can run each axle independent of each other for front digs, rear digs etc.

No what he does just cuts the power to the rear, it will free wheel. With two esc's you can brake the rear or the front or go in two different directions if you want.

Dual ESCs do not eliminate clodstall. but its kinda like adding a small shot of nitrous!
