Default CPE Claw

Got my CPE Claw today and just wanted to hear from people about the
finish of the chassis, My chassis seems to be very ruff around the edges
even my servo mounts, I will be honest I tried to save money by getting
the Claw but I'am not Happy should have spent a little more for the NN
but ultimately I'am looking for performance so, can't wait to see what
it can do

I got a prototype (chassis #4) and the finish is great!

It also crawls really well!

PM Brett and talk to him about it.

Maybe it's because it is a prototype and prototypes are finshed for display
purposes, I wish I got a prototype, I could have cut mine with my dremel.

My links weren't polished either, but it is a crawler, not a shelf queen.

I do remember that I took a wire brush in my Dremel to my servo mount and knocked the edges off, no big deal IMO.

What happen to my chassis then? I have no complaints about the links
but my chassis is hacked not worth my $145 I paid I think I might look into a refund it is the complete opposite of my SW2 for my tlt that thing is beautiful I know the material used is not costly so most of the cost goes to the labor and design time. Bottom line my chassis shows very poor craftmanship and poor quality control . NOT LOOKING FOR A SHELF QUEEN

I'm sorry you're unhappy with the chassis as we've had great response to our products to date. If you would like to send the entire kit back we'll refund your payment. I apologize for the inconvenience.

What was the problem with your chassis? i have bought not one but 4 chassis from CPE and i have the highest regard for their fit and finish, take in consideration i also own an NN, a Vertical smile and some others, i have no idea what could be your problem with it.

ive seen/used an NN and that thing is perfect, ive only seen one vertical smile and i could have made better myself with a dremel, IMO.

Sorry can't post picks but decided just to clean it up with my dremel
performance and simplicity is what I'am looking for and after this thread I see people consider it in high regards, so I think I will keep mine.

That's all I did on my servo mounts, very easy and the end product is well worth the extra effort!

I think you'll like it. It's a very unique design!

Make sure all 4 tires are weighted.
