Default "stick" type chassis'

Does anyone think one is better than the other? Linkless, shockless, standard linked and shocked ? I bought a clod about 2 months ago and as capable as it is with a reworked stock TLT chassis , I want a "stick" type chassis.

I will say get kevin at the crawler stores stick if you want a plain and simple comp rig but if you enjoy bashing and trail running and competing and beating the holy hell out of your truck you need one of my pimp canes and it is a proven comp winner.

shockless truck is awesome bracuse after driving it more then 5 times the truck starts to get mroe predictable then a truck with shocks can ever be. linkless rocks because you dont have links to get caught up on crap.

HENCE the pimp cane rules!

shockless / linkless sticks are great . you can beat on them and use them for comps .i love mine and as was stated you can just fell what the truck is going to do everytime. Syco's PIMP CANE is a great way to go .

The pimp cane is a torsion stick chassis right? Has anyone had both a Stick and a Pimp Cane to compare?

I have never owned a Stick from TCS.

Obviously it is one of, if not the best crawler platform ever made.

That being said. The Pimp Cane I have for my 2.2 Clod is extremely competent! I have climbed gates w/ it that I literally used entire battery packs on trying to clear w/ my 2.2 TLT crawlers.

I have been PIMPED, and I like it!

I have had A stick and it worked awsome but it has links to bend or break and the roll center is allso higher but if I had 200 bucks to buy another stick I would but I dont want to be limited to a 16 inch wheelbase and spend the money for more shocks. The only problem with the pimp cane is that it needs to be ran a couple times to be broken in where a tsc stick you bolt togather and go right out of the box.And like everybody else has said I dont think there is another chassis out that is as predictable as a torison truck you just know what its gonna do plus in super tight spots or when wedged up flog on it and the backbone will spring you up and out most of the time. And then on top of that you have the HUGE price diffrence.

I can't add much more to what has been said here of the PIMP CANE, mine is known as HUGGY BEAR, i have a NN crawler , an EVO chassis, a CLAW, and two PIMP CANES one 17" wb the other a 12.5" wb and the torsion stick chassis are the most easy to drive and so predictable, i have been using mine for 7 packs and i see the difference on flex already, it keeps getting better and better

Well, I've got a TS TLT, but I don't think the axles are heavy enough to MAKE it flex more than it does. I think I'll go ahead and get a cane in a few then. Does it need mounts, or does it come with every thing ready to bolt up?

It comes with everything you need except screws. And if you have any of the stock tlt kit stuff laying around they will work perfect.
