Default shocks

Ok first off I already have t-maxx shocks but they seem to be to stiff. My question is should get softer springs for the shocks, or would the pro-line power stroke shock be any good.

Softer springs will definitely help, you may want to run a lower weight oil to smooth out the action a little even more.

The Proline Powerstrokes are nice, but may be overkill for crawling. The dual rate shocks are for high-speed runs and big jumps, and the by-pass dampers are all but useless for crawling.

Stick with your Maxx shocks, and get some softer springs.

Try the Losi White (discontinued) or Yellow springs.
