Question Anyone using titan 550's?

I have an evx in my clod, and I like to run it fast some times and crawl other times, I was just wondering if anyone has some titans from an e-maxx in their clod witht the evx setup.,and if it works well for both setups.

thanks

i used to run titans and they're a blast, especially if you run the stock gearing. it may not be the best for crawling but it makes for one fun clod. the only thing to watch for is the lower 4 links. with the setup i had the motors rubbed the links but a few spacers solved that problem.

runtimes were alright but i was using two batteries to get the most out of the titans. i was getting around 10-15 minutes of non stop full throttle run time.

wow! That's pretty sweet! what type of batteries were you using? I have two matched GP 3300's that I'm running, but I couldn't get over 5minutes of full throttle without the 7.2v 540's gettin too hot, that's why I want the 550's. How's the temperature on them after? And were you running stock gearing and tires? AH! Lots of questions! Sorry!

thanks

i was using the dreadnaught 3000's and a receiver pack for the servo. i was using stock tires and gearing but the stock tires suck. with the 550's you can easily do donuts with those tires. the motors didn't get too hot because they have an internal fan.
