Can the lower shock mount on a stick type chassis be connected to the lower links? every pic I can see of stick chassis mounts the shock directly to the axle. Pics would help but not needed. matt cincy oh also... where is a good place to find eitherrr carbon fiber or delrin lower links? Last edited by mrpink; 09-23-2006 at 01:14 PM. |

BENDER is good for links, and you're supposed to mount the shock to the axle. Cheers 8-) |

You can do whatever will work for you . A link mounted shock is going to require a really tall shock tower, which will really stick out the body...not really a performance issue, just might not look so good. Good luck, Stan. |

so mounting the shock as low as I can on the four link will not affect the preformance? I have a set of axle braces that look as if they will be in th way of mounting the shock directly to the axle. Also, how freely should the axles swing without shocks? Mine seems kinda tight with only the lower links connected. matt cincy |
