Default made my nn comp ready

i was going through my nn the other day and decided to make it a little more comp ready. i first started off by lowering the links a little bit, then i bought some proline 40 series chyenne rims and narrowed them down to 2" and put some moab xls on ( can you say big and sticky) i thought my k-rocks were big. i really like the way they turned out i also mounted a proline rock pleazer body on it. i just hope to make it to some comps next year since there are none in michigan. here are some pics.i have one before shot the rest are after shots thanks for looking.

oh my god! i cannot believe how much better these tires work, i have a couple rocks in my yard that i could not even think about climbing up with my k-rocks, and the moabs just walked right up with no problem, i'm a big believer in these tires now for sure. i'm running ttr adaptors that are 12mm-14mm - 23mm from the crawler store, i did all the paint work myself thanks for the compliments, this rig is way better than it was before. i also have it set up in a 60-40 and it works great. thanks gary

i really see no need for beadlocks as long as you narrow the rims, unless you like to try different tires alot, just narrow add your weight and glue them up and you're good to go.

Looking great, that green is really different, but it looks bada$$. Thos beadlocks will come in handy if you ever tear or cut a tire.

Looks great man, I'm a big fan of not using beadlocks for the exact reasons you mentioned.

IC2000 is the ticket then.

Rig looks good. I have the Pro-Line beadlocks and XLs but prefer the regular Moabs right now.

i had a really hard time deciding on moabs or the xls, i read and read and read some more, and went for the xls because of the extra ground clearence and the thinner profile, but i know the regular moabs won the nationals. i'm happy with my decission, like i said they are way better than my k-rocks, thanks for the kind words gary.
