Default MY TWO NEW CHASSIS'**56k beware**

Ok so as promised in another thread i have new pics of my TWO new chassis' i just need to get a set of Clod axles now lol.

The first i will show is my TVP chassis that i got Lasered out of sheet metal, powdercoated jet black and then screen printed by my mummy lol!

The plates are 4" square and ar all pre-lasered holes that i done on Radan(engineering drawing program) at my work.

And here is my Tuber chassis that is made from 4mm solid stainless steel bar, that i borrowed from my work lol. The whole chassis has has been hand bent using my vice and my good old trusted eye-sight. The chassis has been TIG-welded all done at my work, oooooohhhww i love my work for freebies lol. i have still got suspension mounts and link mounts to weld on, but i couldnt wait to get it on to show you guys so i sandblasted it tonight after my work before i get it nickel plated so it looks like chrome.

And here we have a shot that i got a an Airshow in Leuchars last month just to show you my camera work lol.

Hoser when i was making the tvp plates i actually had it all set out on a 3d drawing of the model and i honestly cant remember, but all i can tell you is that it is def one of the holes at theside of the chassis lol.

xjman this is my first build and my first crawler and i got 2 too choose from woohoo lol, yeah but on the actual build of the Tuber all i done was made sure that wheni was bendint the tubing that i was bending 2 at the same time so i had 2 identical parts so it stayed symmetrical.

Here try this, sorry for the crappy paint drawing, For the shock mounts you can just cut a washer in half, as STANGKILLA did

Hey, nice tuber. Good to see some more UK members on here, I'm starting to feel lonely For axles, do an ebay search for bullhead, it's exactly the same as the clod apart from a few bits having different colours, and a different body. I know it works because it's what I based my rig on.

Cheers 8-)
