Default First attempt..Need some Ideas

As I said this is my first attempt at making a cage. I've mocked up using clod axles. I've planned on a 15.5 wheelbase. Any Ideas would be a great.

I have no clue what I'm looking at. I'd say start all over or buy one.

Add some shock hoops to it. Brace the top. add a bottom area to it and run your electronics on you axles and you'll be OK.
I think I see that you are going for a low profile top for a comp type of tuber.
You could even run a stick pack on the bottom skid area if you do it right.

But it is difficult to see where you are going with it.

Yes, I was gonna try and go for a low profile tuber to keep the center of gravity down. I don't have all that much time to really work on it between work and takin my daughter to radiation everyday. But I have a vacation I'm going to used next week so maybe I'll finish it then.

I noticed that your tuber is made out of copper tubing, but I've always read that ya should avoid it cause it bends so easy? I woulde've used copper cause lord knows that it would've been alot easier to bend and work. I bought a tube bender but the radius isnt tight enough so most of mine is bent by hand. I've been wanting a crawler for sometime now but wanted to make it myself, anyone can buy one. But a hand built one just shows the creative side of ppl even if it does look like a cigar holder :-P. Hey, who knows..It could be the next big thing lol.

Looking good, man. Keep pluggin @ it and you'll end up with a sweet ride. Hand made rigs are way cool, anyone can buy one and put it together. You'll learn more by designing and building and tweaking it in on your own.
