Default what are you guys using?

ok I have a few clods and for holding my batteries down to the skid I use asociated battery tray's. But I have been looking for them everywhere and it seems they aren't available anymore.

So what is everyone else using to hold them down on conventional type chassis's?

Industrial strength velcro you clean both surfaces befor applying them and it wont come off and it holds real well too. I bought a 15ft roll from Walmart for $15 or so, It's back in the arts/crafts/sewing department.

Scotch dual lock work better the velcro. It just kind of snaps the battery into place.

Radio Shack as a Heavy Duty Velcro that will hold anything down. I have a big CB in my Jeep thats held up with just that stuff. There's a big difference between the HD Wal-Marts Velcro and Radio Shacks HD's. I had to use a Flat head screw driver and pry my CB off.

The stuff that I am using I was turned to it by my buddy who flys rc planes and if it can hold a battery going thru loops, turns, rolls, and last but not least CRASHES and not come off then it will do just fine in my slow moving crawlers.

I've used zip ties, velcro, double sided tape, rubber bands and I've even seen MGS511 use a band aid.

Generally I use velcro though.
