^^^I think they are both the same thing.

My thoughts...

The shocks should be stood up a lil' & moved all the way to the end of the links.
89+* is alot of DAmn flex!
If your competing; Do you think 20" is a good way to go?
Even though your long ( ).
I think you have too much weight, too high.

JM.02

Other than that... I like Jack!

All the weight is in the wheels and tires. I'll stand the shocks up a little.
A by product of going up is going out. The COG is still in the Axles.

I changed back to the purple shocks. How do I go about lowering without lengthening?

I will post pics very soon.

I like it best in the 2nd picture... just try standing the shocks up and make shock mounting tabs taller... like raytard showed

I'm about to show you the difference between preloaded and not preloaded shocks.

preloaded.... 17 inch wheelbase, 7.5 inches of ground clearance.

Not preloaded....20 inch wheelbase, 5.25 inches of ground clearance.

You need to shorten the links in order to shorten the WB

then go back to the 2nd picture (of this thread you showed us) setup but setup the shocks like raytard showed you

This picture looks good, but it shouldnt relate to the other picture you have.... That is not proper sag, it is WAY insane you are getting 3 extra inches when you load the shocks... not a good thing... WB should stay the same

you would have major problems if this was a TXT and driveshalfs were involved

what happens if you stand up the purple shocks... get it to look like the above picture. but with unloaded shocks

See my clod is 17" WB and 6-7" of clearence... you will find you dont need 10" of clearence if you have to right setup

your tires should be ok at a 18-20" WB... though I would still go with a 17"... personally ;)

No, Super must have four wheels and a body. Linky. There are no rules for unlimited, you can have as many wheels as you can find, or no wheels at all. Legs, if you can make it work...

Cheers 8-)

Just a quick observation, I think the lower links need to be turned 180 degrees: put the short side towards the axles instead of towords the chassis. That looks like it'll lower your ride height, and it might limit some of that extreme articulation you've got going. I think it looked more capable before you put those links and Savage shocks on it, FWIW.

I changed the links around and tried it a couple different ways, this is the way it seems to work the best.

This is where I test and try to decide if changes help or hurt.

This is the real test.....

it just gets steeper and steeper......
