| wheel setup
so i want to upgrade my wheels and tires. I have these currently http://www.uvm.edu/~schiare1/Picture...s/100_4953.JPG and I guess i just dont really know what to expect, but the tires are really old and i assume ungrading to new soft rubber would be a huge improvement. Correct me if im wrong, cuz its gonna be pretty pricey considering my funds. I was thinkin about moabs just cuz everyone else is using them. but i dont really know what rims or wheel adapters i would need. Most of my crawling is just messing around inside on couches and stuff, but i do go outside too. I dont really wanna but wheel adapters unless i can get them from tower or horizon. Can you guys just give me your input |

I would recomend some Proline Masher 2K's Maxx size with some rims with the most offset you can find.

If you want to do it really cheaply, get some maxx sized tires, then fit them to the stock clod wheel with a beadlock adapter.

whats the advantage to 2.2 size wheels? arent they just skinnier and not as tall? i dont understand why people would chose them over big wheels.

I think most people who run 2.2's on their Clods (including me), do that for a more scale appearance.

ok, so if i go for moab xl tires, what rims should i use? i want it basically as wide as i can get it, so i would like offset wheels if i can get them. can i just use these with moabs so i dont need adapters? they will make my stance very wide. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXGM46&P=7 |

well i guess i goin with the moab xl's, they seem to be the best. So are these wheels really the best for this tire like pro-line claims? i would rather not spend that much money. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXLPW9&P=7 |
