All right I have a full set and need to know exactly how others have installed them. I have bent the axle stay ends a little, but they will still not fit. Do you have to shave the axle casing about a 1/16th of inch to clear the axle stay and axle brace?

The set for the bottom of the axle tubes will bolt right on with no modifications. For the top set, you'll need to shave off 1/16" from your gearcases at the plastic boss where the gearbox support screws to the gearcase. Once you do this, just be careful that you have a short enough screw for the thinner half of the gearcase. You may bottom out on the gears if you use the standard length screw. You don't need to touch the stock metal axle stays. Hope this helps! |

Thank you for the info. Now I got to get longer bolts to go through the inner and outside axle braces.
