What would you guys recomend i do. should i go out and buy all the parts seperate, or should i buy the kit then add the stuff i need. i am building my own frame sothats that. thanks. |

well if i was you, i would just buy the axles and go from there, since you want to make you own chassis anyway.

but you get a lot of extra screws and pieces your going to need when you buy the kit.

^^ that's mostly true for the tlt, not the clod, try to score some axles here in the vendors market or e-bay for around $ 90 - 110 and the extra money you save you can use for hardware, the kit is around $180 + shipping in some places so it ads up.

this is all true but if i buy a kit i dont need motors a body tires and wheels axles or any of the steering linkage.

I'd buy the kit. Not only do you get a nice kit and spare parts, you get a huge box to store stuff in. Now that's cool!!!!
