| New parts for my pimp cane
Well after having my pimp cane rig together for about a week or two and finally getting it dialed in like i wanted i ran into a string of parts failure.I had a moped esc burn up,and a axle locker strip where the hex slips in. My first parts to fix the problem arived today and i must say i am very impressed. Here is a pic of my new Crawford Performance Engineering diff locks I also recived a new set of integy 55t lathes. To replace the moped esc that went down i have ordered and should recive in the next day or so a pair of castle creations mamba max esc,s. I also ordered a set of hitec 805 1/4 scale servos to work front and rear steering.I will post up some pics of them on the truck after i get them and figure out some kind of servo mount. |

Well today i recived my two 805 servos and my two mamba mak esc's. These servos are huge and a big challenge to mount but i think i have it figured out. I will get some pics of my new setup tomorow and a pick of these servos compared to a regular servo just so the people who dont know how big these things are. |

Well i have it up and running again with all the new parts I think i am going to like this setup very well. The 805 servos are crazy strong and fast ,almost to fast but i think i can get use to it. The mamba esc's work great and setup is a breeze.I know these esc's are pricey but i think they are going to be worth every penny. I have not had a chance to take the rig out yet the weather here sucks right now.I have run it around the house and up and over the couch several time and really like what i am seeing. Here are a few pics,i would put up some video but i am having problems, for some reason i can not upload a video on to photo bucket or google for some reason.I guess i just do not know what i am doing. |

The knuckles are stock but are shaved to take advantage of the tighter turning radius of the CVD's.This thing turns very sharp and it seems that with the 1/4 scale servos it may turn a little sharper than before.

Nice rig you got there, I love the simplicity of the chassis, lol, almost looks to simple! You may be getting the tighter radius from the long servo horns that 1/4 scales have... Keep us posted on some crawling pics! Later, Jake |

When are you running two mamba maxes? Seems one would do just have to run the wires.

I am running two esc's so i can have control over the front and rear separatly. It is a huge advantage over a single esc setup.

Ok! I got you. That makes sense. Have the rear hold the front back so it kind of slides around. Thanks joesbruiser.
