Default Links length

First I'm new to the RC crawler world. I'm wanting to build one with clod Axel's. I have chassis plates from a redcat Everest I was wondering if anyone could tell me how long my links need to be. Or point me in the right direction with them thanks .

Well, that would depend on how long you want your wheelbase... A ruler comes in handy.

The everest chassie sucks no suspention adjustments and the geomitry realy sucks for a crawler i cut my e10 chassie out of a plastic cutting board material and it is working great and very easy to work with u can use the e10 chassie as a basic templet for size and upper mount locations maybe make the chassie a bit longer to make sure there is enuff material to drill alot of holes to adjust.the.suspention

You can make th3 links any size you want i would sugjest you start with the lower links first just make 4 the same size then do the upper links

I sometimes use bic pens for mock up links but there only so long but the rod ends fit inside perfictly and a drop of super glue holds them in place untill your ready to make real ones
