Default The Green Pimp is taking shape!

Well today my pimp can came in the mail, Its a 17 incher. As soon as it came I immediately grabbed my clod axles and put it together. so now I mounted my battery and receiver nothing else and used green zip ties!!!

And if you have a pimpcane you gotta post a pic of it doing this

probably, but I am out of money atm, other wise I would have my servos mounted a esc and flat front and rear braces to mount everything

why are you missing 2 of the axle braces does it have ball bearings in it

Because I have no money right now And I paided 50 bucks for the axles without them, and I dont know if theres bearings I just git it

you could always make axle stays easiest why to tell if its got ball bearings with out taking it apart is pull on the axle stud and look in the knuckle behide the washer. if its something a off white/tan color is the old soild pastic bearings if its metal its ball bearings

I am going to buy some I just dont have money atm the moment, This isnt the poor crawler thread

Axial Beadlocks, The blackchrome ones with green rock rings. Wrapped with Moab xls

XTM Wheels provides a much better sidewall with XL's then any 40's wheel can. I love Axials Beadlocks aswell but with 40's wheels and XL's it's hard to keep your sidewall strength.

Narrow the axials and keep the beadlocks.
If your gonna run it cheap for awhile don't put
foams in the stock clod tires. I ran em, stock no foam
and they worked well.

This truck probably wont see rocks until I get moabs or electronics for that matter.




Updation : Well today I took apart a knuckle to see if it had bearings in it. It does I am even happier with this truck now thats one less thing I have to buy I got a picture of the bearings

Yeah it is, Because I saved some money.


Also I just got done using some spare tlt parts to make a custom servo mount for now until I buy better ones, My cb995 should be here later today




The other 2 pictures aren't that good
