Default wheel base/link length

hi im trying to get all my stuff figured out so i can start my build.its going to be a tuber,but more of a basher that a crawler. it wont sit so low and not as long. what would be a good wheel base to shoot for. and how do i determine the link length. thanks

you can run just about any wheel base 12 inchs up to 19 is the longest i seen. tape your axles down to something at the wheel base you want then put the chassis where ever you want dead middle for 50/50 or move it some for 60/40 the messure and cut your links heres how to make links if you dont know http://www.rccrawler.com/links2.htm
