Talking Monsterclod 1:6 with Nylint body

Thats my newest toy, just finished everything. This beast is huge! it weights about 12 pounds with 2 battery packs! It looks way scale and the Clodbuster wheels fit to the body size quite well.
The esc is from the E-maxx, Axles are -of course- clodbuster, bb'ed and with stainless steel-bolts. motors are 12V Mabuchis, like used in the Emaxx's as well. I also installed 11th pinions and 100% locked the diffs. The whole chassis is made from 10x10mm rect. aluminium with 1mm wall thickness and the links are 4mm threaded rods under 8mm tubing. The plates are 2mm thick Aluminium as well:

Here are some pics with my 1:12 UNIMOG

It's way cool

Looks good. Id paint that body so it looks a little more mean. It makes the 1/12 look like a hot wheeles car.

well, if I would mount the body any lower the tyres would scrap on the body @ max flex, so I think I let it where it is, for the tyres, right I´m looking for something better, the original nylint tyres are cool, but i purchased the body only, so I have to look for alternatives here in Germany...

Nah, leave it as it is, it looks fantastic! On 14.4v, with 550 motors, that must go like stink. Just play with it as a monster truck.
