| 2.2 Pimp Cane "The Newb Crawler"
Well this is my new crawler and it is quickly becoming my favorite rc vehicle I own. I finished a day after Christmas and it has held up great to my abuse. I am running the usual Hitec 645 mg , two 65 turn lathes , 2.2 moabs, and a tekin rebel 2. Now for the pics This was my first run at Castle Rock. |

Tomorrow I will add some pictures of my back yard course. It involved a week with a pick axe and a shovel carving out sandstone, and moving the some stones up there. Luckily my whole backyard after about 50 feet is a nice gradient of sandstone. PS Anyone now some good tire that hook up on those red rocks in my backyard and sandstone the moabs struggle a bit on the sandstone. Oh ya in case your were wondering that lexan gear cover was so i could actually set my mesh right and i never got around to trimming it. Last edited by rcca; 02-25-2007 at 07:56 PM. |

| Good work, I have been threatening to make one of those for awhile. That is a great place to boulder, a little slice of Fontainebleau right there in cali. |

The torsion/stick ideas are great... They seem to work the best... There's a few of us in my local group that want to do them on several scales and axles, but, anotehr group on the island won't allow them in their comps... We donno about our end of things tho' or about the guys in WA state if they'll aloow 'em or not... Seems the class is too good to be allowed...;)

Pimp, stick.. Anything that's linkless... Sounds like that to us, too... I think we kinda scared 'em last year when we took 2 out of 3 top spots for the Clod class... Us taking 1st, a 60/40 Pro, and 3rd, my Gecko II... We didn't enter in the 2.2/TLT's 'cos we didn't have any... Oh.. They've also stated that the 2.2 MUST be shafty's... heh They only had 1 guy with under 100 total points and he was 2nd in the Clod class... |
