Exclamation Questions running through my head.

I would be very grateful if i could get these questions that have been running through my head answered, and if you could please mark your answers by the number of question that im asking?

1. What is the standard wheelbase for a 2.2 crawler?

2. " " " " " " standard crawler?(maxx sized wheels)

3. Would 55t motors and stock gearing be adequate to crawling and still have wheelspeed to get over the tricky bits?

4. If i do run 55t motors would any esc lower than 27t be usable?

5.What is a safe clearance height for the bottom of my crawler as i odnt want it sitting to high?

6. For more steering can i dremel the wee plastic bits of the stock clod steering knuckles as this would allow them more turn?

7. What is the weight of your crawler as i have made a st/st tuber and once every thing is mounted it will be like a tank and i just dont want it too heavy?

8. What would be the ideal servo to use, or what would be the least amount of otrque touse? as i am not using four wheel steer? may do so at a later date.

i believe that to be it for now but i have the feeling i missed something out so if i remember i will update the thread.

Thank you in advance for all who reply

1: 12.5"
2: huh?
3: no with the stock 13T pinion youll need at least 65T and maybe 75T motors, i run 55Ts, with 9T pinions
4: i think so. see how to build a clod sticky, about electronics, i run moped esc's
5: a four link usually sits about 4.5" of center clearance. i usually run about .75" of slope in the links. with some sag to boot.
6: yes, you can hack the holy crap out of them, i have my stockies turning more than CVDs, but you will need to clearance the metal shaft too.
7: no clue, tubers are usually way too heavy, being top heavy is there worst trait though
8: the "tower pro" MG995 and MG945 are cheap and work well. (ebay)

While most are using Clods as supers, the 2.2 crowd seems to be growing.
