I felt that I benefited when I had articulation like that. As far as staying that way, it alway's will on concrete like that.

articulation is personal prefrence. i know i use all 85* of flex mine has at comps. has saved more than a few times.

what benefit are you guy's gaining from narrowing the wheel's, I have only been to one comp, but i felt my crawler climbed better than all the narrowed tire guy's, though I do see one benefit in that I am more likely to get tires wedged, and eliminating some tire scrub would be nice.
