Default Took Thumper crawlin'! Finally, NO RAIN!

Well the planets must have lined up right! No rain and it's not freezing!

It feels good to be able to go out and break stuff again.

I went out for a couple of hours and tried to find some new spots to crawl, but everywhere was still to muddy, so I gave in and went back to my old testing spots.

Wish there was someone around here to run with... sniff...

Nuff of that, here's some pics. None were posed, but I did have to stop and take the pictures.

Damage report: paint, 1 wheel axle, 2 servo horns.

Any speed controller can handle lathe motors. I'm running the Integy's. Great motors!

Straight up and down it'll go 3 inches, and will articulate appx 60 degrees.

I'm gona try to be there. I won't be able to compete, Thumpers about 2 inches too long to fit in the "box", but hopefully I'll get a chance to run some of the course before or after the comp.

Can't miss something this close to home!

They seem ok. I haven't had a lot of others to judge them against. They are better and taller than the stock clod tires, better than the single duallys.

I've also got a set of swamp dogs on narrowed maxx rims, they are very grippy, but way too low profile for me.

The tires on it now are appx 7 inches tall and I run them without foams so they wrap around the rocks pretty good.
